Out of Hand is a biennial exhibition by members of Stitching and Beyond showcasing the diverse and innovative approaches members have to fibre and textile arts. Stitching and Beyond Inc. is a not-for-profit community art group encouraging and supporting those interested in fibre and textiles to grow their skills. We are a diverse group of textile artists from all regions of Tasmania and further afield. This year we are also inviting students of Wild Stitch and HEGYS (Hobart Embroiderers Guild Young Stitchers) to be part of the exhibition.
The exhibition is being supported by Hobart City Council and Salamanca Arts Centre.
