About this Event

OUT OF CAMO: A Night of Veteran Voices at the GRAMMY Museum

Join us on October 6, 2026, for a special black-tie red carpet evening at the GRAMMY Museum with Getty Images, celebrating Out of Camo, the No. 1 iTunes Spoken Word album created and performed by U.S. military veterans.

Through powerful spoken word, original music, and authentic storytelling, veterans Ken Tran, AJ, Erika Renee Land, Mike Guinn, and Cordney “MAC” McClain will perform selections from Out of Camo and share the lived experiences behind the project.

Out of Camo explores what happens when the uniform comes off and veterans are left to confront identity, memory, sacrifice, loss, healing, and life beyond military service. The project was created to honor those who served while encouraging veterans living with invisible wounds to find connection and healing through music, art, and poetry.

The album also incorporates real audio recorded by Ken Tran during a veterans’ peace demonstration in Washington, D.C., on April 20, 2026, where more than 120 U.S. military veterans gathered.

This evening is more than a performance. It is an opportunity to hear veterans tell their own stories, in their own words, as they step “Out of Camo” and leave the camouflage behind.

Net proceeds from album and event sales will benefit Veterans For Peace.
