Mathilde Botfeldt’s work explores the deep interconnectedness of all life. Through delicate, symmetrical paper cuttings, she depicts how beings, relationships, birth, life, and death flow into one another in an ongoing cycle. Her art reflects our kinship with nature, the cosmos, and each other — showing that we are small parts of a larger pattern shaped by time, variation, and fragile existence. Using psaligrafi, she creates unique works where coherence, mirroring, and subtle shifts reveal a living universe in which everything is connected and nothing stands alone.
