Engage in pop-up conversations with climate advocates, researchers and community leaders inside the exhibition in the “Be the Change” zone on select Saturdays. Ask questions and hear about local and regional efforts to address climate change.
Meet Olivia Maliszewski (Rappahannock), an Indigenous woman, artist and scientist who believes that art is a powerful tool for conveying environmental messages and getting people interested in animal science and conservation. Learn about her experiences working at Native Land Conservancy, a Native-led land conservation organization dedicated to preserving and restoring healthy landscapes for all living beings. She holds a degree in Science, Technology and Society (STS) from Brown University.
