Join Our Lady of Walsingham Academy for the inaugural event in its Lecture Series, “Pursuing Wisdom. Seeking Truth.”, featuring Fr. Sebastian Walshe, O.Praem., author of Always a Catholic. Fr. Walshe will explore one of the most important questions facing Catholic families today: how to nurture a lasting commitment to the faith in an increasingly secular world.
Fr. Walshe is a Norbertine Canon of St. Michael's Abbey in Orange County, Calif., where he serves as a professor of philosophy. A graduate of Thomas Aquinas College with advanced degrees from The Catholic University of America and the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome, he is a nationally sought-after speaker known for making Catholic theology, philosophy and spiritual formation accessible to contemporary audiences.
The OLWA Lecture Series features four annual presentations by Catholic scholars, clergy, and educators whose work reflects the ideas of Western civilization that inform the curriculum and culture of Colorado Springs' first classical Catholic high school. The series is designed to continue the formation of families and supporters in the mission of the school.
