Our Forested Wetlands | Guided Hike

Welcome to Our Forested Wetlands | Guided Hike! Join us the months of September and October at William W. Powers State Recreation Area (12949 S Avenue O) to immerse yourself in the wonders of the forested wetlands.

This hike takes place in the northern region of the park and may include uneven, and at time slippery terrain. All visitors are encouraged to wear secure shoes for walking outdoors, as well as to bring water for hydrating along the journey. As this is a forested wetland, mosquitoes and ticks dwell within the area. Please wear appropriate insect prevention (i.e., repellent based sprays, bands) to limit the potential for bites.
