Our Changing Coast: Collage for Coastal Resilience
About this Event
Join members of the Upper Limit Project Youth Council, ReThink Energy Florida, Florida PIRG Students, Gen Cleo, and Friends of Tampa Bay Aquatic Preserve for a free, creative afternoon exploring climate change, sea level rise, and the future of Tampa Bay's coast!
Through collaborative collage-making, we'll explore how coastal environments are changing, reflect on our personal connections to the places we call home, and imagine what a more resilient future could look like. No art experience is necessary! We'll provide secondhand materials and all the supplies you need to create.
Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to connect with other community members, share ideas across generations, and learn about ways to get involved in local environmental action, including the Upper Limit Project's Keep Our Heads Above Water Campaign.
Whether you're passionate about the environment, love getting creative, or are simply curious about the future of our coast, this event is for you!
Come ready to create, connect, and imagine what's possible for our changing coast.
