Ottawa Irish Arts welcomes all comers to enjoy an afternoon of dancing and listening to live Irish music. Learn more about our dancing here: http://www.ottawacomhaltas.com/dance.php
You can come on your own, there are always partners to find on the dance floor.
The ceili (kay'-lee, an Irish social gathering typically involving live music) is held in the basement of the old Saint Brigid's Church (no longer a church), in the Kildare Room. Access is via the blue door under the blue light on Cumberland St. It is an old Heritage building, currently the downstairs is not officially Accessible. The bathrooms are not officially Accessible.
There is a cash bar, Brigid's Well Pub.
We offer free Irish soda bread, cheese, jam and tea, later in the afternoon.
The very talented Ross Davison, will provide musical entertainment during the break midway through the ceili.
