Happy Hour Fundraiser for the Walk for Dementia!

The Daisies are fundraising again for the Walk for Dementia, and we're kicking things off with a Happy Hour at Buster's Bar & Grill in Kanata!

Come join us from 3:00–5:00 p.m for a fun afternoon featuring live music with performances by The Mystiks, with food and drinks available for purchase. Whether you're part of the community we serve, a friend of The Dementia Society, or just looking for a fun afternoon out and a good cause to support, come hang out with us!

To attend, we simply ask that you make a donation to. Give what you can - every contribution helps support our work in the community.

About the Walk for Dementia

The Walk for Dementia is The Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County's annual signature fundraising event. In 2026, we're celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Walk!

The Walk brings together families, caregivers, friends and community members to raise awareness, show support for people impacted by dementia, and raise funds for vital local programs and services. This year's Walk takes place on Sunday, September 20, and features a 1 km community walk along with live music, food, vendors and activities for all ages.

Meet The Daisies

The Daisies are a team of staff from The Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County. We work directly with people living with dementia and caregivers, planning and facilitating social and recreational programs and providing one-on-one coaching and support.

The funds raised through the Walk help make this work possible and support our broader mission of ensuring that no one faces dementia alone.
