On June 25 at 6:00 p.m., Connecticut photographer and storyteller Debbie McGrath will host the official launch of her debut coffee table book, Other People’s Chairs, at the Oasis Room inside the Garde Arts Center. The book blends photography, personal reflections, and quotes gathered through years of observing everyday moments, inviting readers to find meaning and connection in ordinary places.The evening will include music by DJ JAYPO, light refreshments, a signed copy of the book for attendees, and a one-night-only gallery-style sale of framed photographs from the collection. Notably, 100% of proceeds from photo sales will benefit the Garde’s P (Partners: Arts. Community. Education.) programs, which expand access to arts experiences for students, families, and underserved community members.
Tickets are $100 and are only being sold via https://gardearts.org/events/other-peoples-chairs/ or in person at the Garde Box Office.
