Otaku Link 16! Derby Anime Event!

Derby - Get ready for a full-day fan event as Otaku Link 16 brings together anime, gaming, cosplay and pop-culture lovers on Sunday 10th May at The Old Bell Hotel in Derby. The main day event runs from 11:30 am to 6:30 pm, followed by an exclusive after-party.

• DJ Manimal - blending anime, J-pop and trance into a dynamic set!

• Fairie - Kawaii Idol Performer celebrating Japanese pop culture!
• Hawk Drumming - Live drumming performance to iconic anime songs!

Attendees will find a wide range of activities throughout the day, including:

• Learn to Play Dungeons & Dragons + Character Creations — Two sessions: 12:00-14:30 and 15:00-17:30 using level-5 characters for beginners or experienced players, 2024 rules apply. Also, create your very own D&D character with the guidance of a dungeon master.
  
• Anime Quizzes — Three different quizzes live via mobile, winners get £10 store credit.
  
• Cosplay Parade — Hosted by Farire and Chloe eves, with top prizes: £30 store voucher; 2nd £20 voucher; 3rd £10 voucher.
  
• Talent Spot — Platform for aspiring performers (singing, dancing, cosplay) to showcase and possibly secure future Otaku Link performer-spots.
  
• Otaku Link Maid Café — Open from 12:00pm-5:00pm offering two service styles: Genki (cheerful, interactive) and Shizuka (calmer, relaxed). Allergen-aware.
  
• Anime Auction — A themed auction of items (to be announced) for fans and collectors.
  
• Manga Drawing Competition - If you love drawing and want to challenge yourself in a fun, friendly environment, this competition is the perfect opportunity.
  
• Raffle — Final draw at end of day event; prize winners must be present to claim.
  
• Stall Holders & Store — Independent stall-holders plus the Otaku World store offering figures, manga, art, merchandise and exclusive finds.

When the main event winds down at 6:30pm, keep the energy going at the After Party starting 8:00pm through to 11:30pm. Ticketed separately (or included with the Day + After party ticket) to keep the community dancing late into the evening.
