Coastal Kaps was established in 2018 with the objective of growing premium quality mushroom sustainably. Michelle and Shane are passionate about growing mushrooms and providing others with the health benefits and eco-friendly protein that mushrooms offer. They like to think of them as Natures original ‘smart drug’! Mushrooms are jam-packed full of essential nutrients and antioxidants. Being high in Vitamin D and Iron, low in calories and help to improve immune function.Based in Karitane which is reknowned for its scenic beauty, golden beach, tranquil environment, Michelle and Shane are thankful to be able to live and produce natural food in this amazing place.
Join them for an evening of everything MUSHROOMS, from growing them sustainably, to using them fresh, dry and as seasoning!
Tickets for this event are $50 per person and include:
A welcome 'house' cocktail or mocktail.
A free sample of Oyster Mushroom Powder to take home.
A range of Coastal Kaps produce to purchase on the night including 2kg grow bags.
10% off on any No.8 Distillery bottles purchased on the night
