Join us on Friday, July 17th, 2026, to help remove water chestnut from the Oswegatchie River near the Village of Heuvelton, NY.
Water chestnut is an invasive aquatic plant that forms thick floating mats impeding water recreation and reducing the health of aquatic ecosystems.
Attendees should bring their own watercraft (kayak, canoe, small motor boat) and life jackets. Some equipment may be available to borrow upon request, but supplies are limited.
