FOOD with FRIENDS returns to Old Southwest on Saturday 4/12, Our OSW neighbors Kat & Hank Cline are hosting our first Food With Friends social & potluck of the season in their enchanting garden and gazebo at 383 Mountain Ave. SW. Bring a dish to share, your preferred beverage & a chair. Knowing Kat--she'll offer tasty goodies as part of the "mains." If you've never attended an OSW social gathering, Food With Friends is a low-key and easy way to connect with your super-friendly & very nice OSW neighbors. Please stop by this free, family-friendly event to introduce yourself or reconnect with friends. Oh--and did we mention that the location is a showcase!! Rain or shine.
ABOUT FwF: Food with Friends is an impromptu potluck event initiated by any neighbor. It resembles an indoor/backyard block party. A resident offers their home to host the gathering. The host provides paper products such as plates, napkins, cups, and cutlery, plus a starter of soft drinks. Guests bring a dish to share and beverage of their choice. Sometimes there are potluck themes – like favorite family dish, Italian night, etc. Come make a friend and learn more about our neighborhood! Interested in hosting?
