Approximately 36-mile ride from Ravenna to Akron on the trails and a few roads. We will get back in time to socialize a bit (optional) and to prep for the performance of Asleep at the Wheel at The Kent Stage, in Kent, Ohio 7:30 PM (also optional).We'll meet at Bean and the Baker in Ravenna (107 E Main St, Ravenna, OH 44266), ride on the Portage and Freedom Trails to Akron. We'll take a short break at the halfway point to check out the Rock Mill Climbing, Yoga, Fitness, and Cafe complex in Akron (677 Carroll Street, 44304). Then we'll return to Ravenna via mostly the same route.
We'll get back in time to get cleaned up and to prepare for the performance at The Kent Stage (175 E. Main Street, Kent, Ohio 44240) of Asleep at the Wheel, a Country, Bluegrass, and Texas Swing band (from Texas; signature song is "Miles and Miles of Texas") which begins at 7:30 PM.
