OSTād’s - An Indo-Western Instrumental Music Experience

OSTād’s is a 75 minute instrumental concert that reimagines iconic cinematic and contemporary music through the rich textures of classical and Western instruments. Featuring four accomplished musicians based in British Columbia, the production brings together sitar, sarod, violin, piano, and tabla to create a sound world that feels both familiar and newly discovered.

The production is shaped under the creative direction of Glen D’Mello, whose theatrical approach helps guide the musical narrative and stage experience.
Designed for diverse and multigenerational audiences, the concert bridges musical traditions while remaining accessible to listeners of all backgrounds. As a 2026 premiere, OSTād’s highlights the depth of local artistic talent while delivering a thoughtfully curated theatrical listening experience.
