Ostara Family Festival by Magical Mama

Magical Mama is welcoming in Spring with our 5th Annual Ostara Family Festival!

Our beloved Goddess Ostara will once again return to hand out fresh flowers and play games with the children.

As always, our epic "no junk egg hunt" will have eggs containing lots of fun and beautiful things, like crystal necklaces, but no plastic or candy!

And, we have figured out a great way for the middle kids to find their eggs in a wide open space this year... they'll dig for them in the sand at the dinosaur digs! If your child is between the ages of 3 and 6, they can bring a shovel! And, we'll have extras on hand. :)

We'll have kids mindfulness & yoga, finger kite crafts and magic wand crafts, healthy snacks, and lots of fun activities sponsored by the mom-owned small businesses who'll have their booths at the festival! Come check them out!

The Ostara Family Festival is an affordable day of family fun out in the fresh air, at the park! Preregistration is required, and children are only $7 each, with adults free!

Bring your Easter baskets, sun hats, and reusable water bottles! The weather will be beautiful and warm!

This event sells out each year. We encourage you to sign up today, if you are egg-cited about joining in the fun!

All children must be accompanied by their guardians during the entirety of the event.

Schedule:

2pm: We'll gather at the tail of the giant cement rattlesnake on the playground to meet Goddess Ostara, the goddess of Springtime who loves bunnies and eggs! She'll have fresh flowers for us, and loves to pose for pictures with the kids! This is also a great time to check out the Momboss booths!

We'll begin our Easter Egg Hunt at about 2:30pm. This is a winding adventure through the park, with the little littles finding their eggs first, and then the bigger littles, and then the biggest littles.

Our eggs are filled with rings, stickers, crystal necklaces, friendship bracelets, and vouchers for larger prizes or snacks at the Momboss booths... no plastic toys or sugary candies.

2:30pm: Ages 0-2 Egg Hunt along the back of the giant snake!

2:40pm: Ages 3-6 Egg Hunt digging for eggs in the dinosaur pit!

2:50pm: Ages 7+ Egg Hunt along the butterfly garden, leading to the pavilion

3pm: We will gather together in the Preserve Overlook pavilion to check out our egg goodies and enjoy activities, for the kids! This is also a great time to check out all the Momboss booths, which have fun crafts and giveaways, too!

5pm: We'll say our farewells in the open field at the center, until next spring!
