OSHA #7500: Introduction to Safety and Health Management

This full day workshop, offered in partnership with the OSHA Training Institute of Keene State College, covers the effective implementation of a Member’s safety and health management system. Learning objectives address the seven core elements of an effective safety and health program and issues critical to each element’s proper management. Core elements include:

• Management Leadership
• Worker Participation
• Hazard Identification and Assessment
• Hazard Prevention and Control
• Education and Training
• Program Evaluation and Improvement
• Communication and Coordination for Host Employers, Contractors, and Staffing Agencies

Who should attend:

Department of Public Works, Water, Wastewater, Parks & Recreation, Building and Grounds, Facilities Maintenance or any other personnel who are involved in and/or have responsibility for workplace safety within your organization. Graduates of this Program will be expected to take what they have learned and institute changes, in practice and policy, that will ultimately strengthen current efforts in workplace safety and help create and sustain a strong safety culture within your organization.

• Available to Members of The Trust's Workers' Compensation Program only.
• Advance registration is required.
• Registration is limited to 2 employees per Member. If you have additional employees you would like added to our wait list, please let us know.
• Registration Deadline is Wednesday, September 23, 2026.
• There will be a $50 "No Show" fee for anyone who registers but then fails to attend the training.
