We look forward to welcoming Osamu Shikichi in November for a residency at workspacebrussels and two evenings of performances at Beursschouwburg.
ur phantom eyes, our crystallised pains, their graduation work at P.A.R.T.S., is both a performance and a poetic practice informed by sculpture and dance. Through residencies and festivals, the work has travelled internationally in various formats and iterations, questioning the production and circulation of live art while slowly mutating into new performative processes.
After Seoul, Tokyo, London, Munich and, most recently, Hong Kong, Osamu’s work returns to Brussels, where it all began, as part of a co-programming initiative by Bâtard and Beursschouwburg.

ur phantom eyes, our crystallised pains, diens afstudeerwerk aan P.A.R.T.S., is zowel een performance als een poëtische praktijk, gevoed door beeldhouwkunst en dans. Via residenties en festivals reisde het werk internationaal in verschillende vormen en versies. Daarbij stelt het de productie en circulatie van live werk in vraag en muteert het langzaam tot nieuwe performatieve processen.
