Ornamental & Turf / Private Applicators Review and CEU's

In this workshop led by Grantly Ricketts, UF/IFAS Extension St. Lucie County Director and Commercial Horticulture Agent, you will learn about reading pesticide labels, understanding laws and regulations, and safety, storage and disposal of pesticides. Instruction will be provided on integrated pest management, pest control in turf, as well as signs and symptoms of insect and disease. Additionally, we will cover the calculations necessary for accurately measuring pesticides used in ornamental and turf, as well as private agricultural operations. Please note that lunch will not be provided.
