About this Event
Central Florida's growth over the past 150 years has been astounding, but it's also taken a significant toll on our environment.
As part of its 150th anniversary celebration, the Orlando Sentinel will host a panel discussion about environmental issues facing our area.
The Sentinel's panel will feature representatives from key environmental groups, including Julie Wraithmell, Vice President and Executive Director of Audubon Florida. John Rivers, CEO of 4R Restaurant Group and chairman of 4Roots, will discuss some of his group's environmental work, and the East Florida Zoological Society will share information about its efforts to help the ailing Indian River Lagoon.
As a special thank you, everyone in attendance will receive a free plant to take home, courtesy of BWH Plant Co. in College Park.
Due to limited seating, please register in advance.
