Orlando Mural Festival is a program of Downtown Arts and CityArts, presented by the Downtown Development Board.
The festival brings local, national, and international artists to Downtown Orlando to create large-scale murals and artwork in real time. The festival kicks off during Third Thursday on Thursday, September 17 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at CityArts, with a special exhibition in the upstairs Signature Gallery featuring studio work from muralists who have participated in the Orlando Mural Festival over the past two years. This exhibition gives visitors a chance to see the artists' work beyond their large-scale murals.
The festival continues on Saturday, September 19 from 2:00 to 10:00 PM with the Orlando Mural Festival Street Party on Magnolia Avenue in front of CityArts (39 S. Magnolia Avenue). The event will feature live panel muralists, live artists, art vendors, live music, food trucks, and more, giving visitors the opportunity to watch artists create throughout the day.
