I Orlando Guillen will be one of the artist showcasing my art at this event. A self-taught artist from Palestine, Tx. I am fascinated with turning trash into treasure. I create wall sculptures through a labor-intensive process involving their construction which includes hand-cutting metal forms, welding, torching, cutting metal strips with a cut off wheel, smoothing and sanding rough elements with a metal grinder, hand painting, and then finished with car clear. “Each piece represents me and it tells a story, that’s why it’s unique. Art has given me a way to put my heart and soul into each work of art I create.
This incredible celebration of craft and creativity will take over the trails from the museum’s lower parking to the Skyspace along the Art Trail on
