Irish fiddle player Orla O'Connor set the Irish traditional music community abuzz by winning the 2025 All-Ireland Senior Fiddle contest in Wexford, Ireland in her first competition. Originally from County Kerry, Ireland, Orla amazingly lives in nearby Pocatello, Idaho and will be coming to Logan to showcase her championship fiddle style in an intimate house concert.accompanied by Greg Mladenka on guitar:
Greg Mladenka (Pocatello, Idaho) has played guitar since childhood. Initially taught by his father, he later expanded his horizons into folk and Americana - sprinkled with some classical training. Primarily a singer- songwriter, he also has enjoyed collaborations with many talented musicians over the years, including playing guitar and mandolin in Idaho State University’s Bright Star and Spitfire Grill musical productions. In recent years, he has delved into Irish and Breton styles, performing several times at Ceili at the Roundhouse Celtic festival in Evanston, Wyoming.
