Orktober Car Show & Drag Race!!One Purchase – Two Events!!
Purchase $60 in GW kits, and take one of those kits to participate in the painting competition AND drag race events!
Get ready to test your kitbash, painting, and racing skills this October! We've got a double-wammy planned for Sat October 25th. First, we have a paint competition: kitbash your kit and get it painted up to be voted best painted (or converted) model in the Car Show. Second, bring your kitbash and start your engines and race against other players in the Drag Race. Best overall racer, and best losers bracket racer, will win prizes .
**Kitbash Rules**
Using your in-store Games Workshop purchase, design and paint up your own kitbash. Use any GW kit(s) anywhere from 40k, Age of Sigmar, Old World, Heresy, etc! Then design your model into a Hot Rod, Junker, Hover Wagon, Horse-n-Buggy, Beast Chariot, etc. Use any further bits you want (no restrictions: non-GW, cardboard, 3D prints, ANYTHING) to pimp that ride for Show Day. Throughout the next few months, we'll be having "Kitbash Day's" where people are encouraged to bring their extra bits and sprues to share and swap with other participants, helping with your conversions. The key thing to remember is "kitbash", so make sure you at least add extra bits to a regular kit to make it different than the normal.
Also this is NOT restricted to 40k design, or futuristic, or even "car". Feel free to design anything you want to see Race down a Drag Strip. Bring those chariots, or giant monsters, or low-flying contraptions. We want to see your creativity!!
**Community Judging!**
We want you, the community, to vote for your best entries. Only painted models will be allowed for the first 3 awards, but all models will be allowed for the best kitbash! And only one award per contestant (aside from the actual Race if they participate).
This will be in tandem with October's paint challenge. So feel free to participate in the painting showcase even if you don't want to race on Race Day.

•• Voting Starts on Sunday (pictures will be posted online)
•• Winners will be decided by end-of-day on 25th
•• Vote for your 1st/2nd/3rd picks in each category
Model Purchase Rules:
•• $60+ kits of GW brand
•• Use one of those kits as the "base" of your kitbash
•• Tell the cashier you bought it towards the event (they'll write your name down)
