Orionids Meteor Shower
Made by dust trails left behind by Halley's comet, the Orionids create faint but fast meteors that often leave bright trails in the sky. They appear to radiate from near the star Betelgeuse in the Orion constellation. We can expect to see 10-20 meteors per hour at the shower's peak, which luckily coincides with a moonless night this year!
