ORILLIA - OPP Women's Focused Shuttle Run (International Women's Day)

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is hosting an event to support candidates on their journey to becoming police officers.

Looking to gauge your fitness level before submitting your application? Join us on March 8th in Orillia for an opportunity to perform the shuttle run. Participants who are successful in reaching level 7 or higher will receive a certificate to prequalify their fitness level for their application.
This event is dedicated to women (including those who are cis, trans, AFAB and non-binary). This is an incredibly valuable session for those close to starting or submitting their application.

La Police provinciale de l’Ontario (Police provinciale) organise un événement qui vise à soutenir les candidates et candidats dans leur démarche à se joindre à la police.

Vous cherchez à évaluer votre condition physique avant de soumettre votre candidature ? Joignez-vous à nous le 8 mars à Orillia et vous aurez l’occasion d’effectuer la course-navette. Les participantes et participants qui passeront avec succès le niveau 7 ou un niveau supérieur recevront un certificat de préqualification de leur condition physique à joindre à leur candidature.

In addition to the shuttle run, we will be hosting a panel discussion with women from various backgrounds and experience! Come hear what these women have to say about the many opportunites that they have had in their policing career with the OPP!

If you chose not to run the shuttle run, you are still more than welcome to register only to join us for the panel discussion part of the session.

YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER TO ATTEND: One ticket per person.

If the website says "Sold Out" the event is FULL.

LOCATION: This event is going to be hosted in Orillia at COTTAGE K (across the street from OPP General Headquarters building).

REGISTRATION ELGIBILITY: Each registrant must be aged 18 or older to register for this event. Each registrant must have valid photo ID to attend.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you cannot attend, please cancel your reservation on Eventbrite so someone else may take your place.

PHOTO IDENTIFICATION REQUIRED: It will be checked at the door. Name on the ID must match the name on the ticket.

Please dress in appropraite fitness attire.
