Calling all trail users! ORII has teamed up with Aztec Trails and Open Space (ATOS) to offer two one-day Trail Steward trainings on Saturday, March 22 and Sunday, March 30 at Alien Run. This is a great change to learn about trail maintenance and best practices to help maintain BLM trails in the area.
We'll meet at the Alien Run Trailhead at 9AM and go until 4PM. Plan on being out on the trail the entire time. Tools will be provided.
Participants need to bring:
-Water/lunch/snacks (min. 2 liters of water)
-Backpack
-Closed-toe shoes (boots are encouraged)
-Sun protection
-Work gloves
