Orienteering 101: Children's Program (10 and up), $4 per child

Ready to find your way like a true explorer? Kids will learn the basics of navigation by using a map and compass to find their way. Build confidence in your newfound skills through fun activities and challenges!

We will meet at the Environmental Education and Resiliency Center in Field 1 of Hempstead Lake State Park. $4 per child upon arrival at the front desk. $8 Vehicle Fee in Effect. Reservations are required for all programs, each person needs their own ticket. Space is limited. If you are unable to keep your reservation, please cancel so others may have the opportunity to attend. Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes early.

Please dress accordingly for the weather, and wear proper foot attire for walking. Please wear closed-toe shoes.
