The Lone Star College Fire Academy orientation introduces cadets to program expectations, safety standards, course requirements, and the structure of academy training. Cadets receive an overview of physical training expectations, equipment use, state certification requirements, and the importance of teamwork, discipline, and professionalism.
Orientation serves as the first step in preparing cadets for the rigorous training ahead as they begin their journey toward becoming firefighters.
