We will be accepting applications from January 18th through February 18th, 2025!Are you looking for a safe, quality, and affordable home in Boone County? Habitat for Humanity of Boone County is planning to break ground on a new home again this Spring (HFHBC) and is opening up the application process for qualified low-income families! We are a nonprofit housing developer and lender dedicated to building homes and strengthening our community.
Here are the basic requirements to qualify for a home and mortgage with HFHBC:
🔹Ability to maintain a monthly mortgage payment:
Minimum household income
Credit history evaluation
Total debt-to-income ratio under 43%
🔹Current need for safe, affordable housing
🔹Willingness to partner with HFHBC and complete 300 partnership hours (volunteering, classes, etc.)
🔹Boone County Resident
HOW TO APPLY:
Attend our application event on Saturday, January 18, 2025, promptly at 10:00 am, to learn more and apply.

📋 Documents needed with your application:
🔸Valid driver's license or photo ID
🔸Most recent tax return (2024 or 2023)
🔸Recent pay stubs (covering 6 weeks)
🔸Proof of any other income (child support, social security, etc.)
Applications will NOT be reviewed until all required paperwork is provided. Please bring copies of all documents when you apply or by February 18, 2025.
