Angela Merlano (curator of the event, and birthday girl on April 12) is an award-winning performer and practitioner of multiple dance forms. She began with belly dance (raqs sharqi) in 2020 and fell more in love with the art form as time passed! She works with her band, including drummer Brian Degitz, oud player Korey Wiley, drummer Theo Hunt, and her fiance saxophonist Charles Graham to create a unique live music experience to match with the beauty of oriental dance!
