✨ Jedinečné setkání s tureckým spisovatelem a nobelistou Orhanem Pamukem v DOXu! ✨Proč se chtěl v dětství stát umělcem a kudy vedla jeho cesta k literatuře? Jak vnímá vztah mezi slovem a obrazem? A jak vzniklo jeho istanbulské Muzeum nevinnosti? Diskuze s jedním z nejuznávanějších autorů současnosti nabídne pohled do jeho románového i výtvarného světa.
V rámci večera proběhne křest českého vydání autorovy knihy Morové noci, kterou v překladu Petra Kučery vydává Nakladatelství Argo.

✨ Meet Turkish writer and Nobel Prize winner Orhan Pamuk at DOX! ✨
Why did he want to become an artist as a child and what was his path to literature? How does he perceive the relationship between words and images? And how did his Istanbul Museum of Innocence come about? A discussion with one of the most acclaimed authors of our time will offer a glimpse into his fictional and artistic world.
The evening will include the launch of the Czech edition of the author's book Nights of Plague, translated by Petr Kučera and published by Argo.
📎 The discussion will be held in English with interpretation into Czech.
