Organizing in Hard Times: Lessons from Read This When Things Fall Apart

Join Kelly Hayes, Stevie Wilson, and Eman Abdelhadi at Haymarket House on April 22 at 6 pm for a conversation about Read This When Things Fall Apart: Letters to Organizers in Crisis.

Together, they will reflect on what it means to keep going in times of grief, repression, burnout, uncertainty, and political upheaval. Drawing on the book’s themes and their own experiences, they will explore the lessons, practices, and forms of connection that help sustain people in struggle.

This event is also a meaningful and long-awaited gathering around the book. Stevie Wilson, whose participation in the initial release events was not possible, will be joining this conversation in person, making the evening a special chance to engage these reflections together.
