The Organic Gardening Session will be a 4-part hybrid session consisting of the following topics:1. April 12, 2025 - In-person - This session provides a basic introduction to gardening using organic methods.
touching on topics such as soil/soil management, garden design, W**d control, fertilizing, and watering
2 April 19, 2025- Online, - builds on the basics introduced in Session 1, focusing explicitly on growing fresh fruits
and vegetables using organic methods.
3. April 26, 2025 - Online, focuses expressly on growing herbs. Using organic methods.
4. May 3, 2025, -In-person,- offers students in-person instruction on fundamental techniques for sustainable
gardening. Techniques demonstrated include: Composting, Raised bed construction, and Water catchment
systems.
