St. Stanislaus Church in Amsterdam is proud to present a concert featuring award winning organist and composer Alfred Fedak in celebration of the restoration and renovation of their historic pipe organ, completed at the end of 2024 by Mark Carlson of L.A. Carlson Company & Comet Organ Company. A brand new Rodgers Imagine Series 239MVe two-manual console, in a custom cherry finish, was installed to control the existing historic twenty-two rank pipe organ. The program will proudly celebrate the church’s Polish heritage, featuring works composed by Polish artists as well as the world premiere of a setting of traditional Polish kolędy for organ. The piece, composed by Mr. Fedak, was commissioned especially for this occasion by lifelong parishioners Jim & Dolores Dybas in memory of Mark Dylong.
A reception will follow the concert, hosted by the Martha Ministry of St. Stanislaus Church. The event is free of charge.
