Order of Polka Dots Parade 2025

The Order of Polka Dots is a historic all-female Mardi Gras society in Mobile Alabama. Founded in May 1949 by twenty women it holds the distinction of being the first ladies' organization to parade in Mobile with its inaugural procession in 1950. This pioneering move paved the way for several other women's societies in the region.

The Order of Polka Dots is celebrated for its vibrant and elaborately themed floats energetic marching bands and the enthusiastic participation of its members. Spectators can anticipate a lively atmosphere with members tossing traditional "throws" such as beads moon pies and trinkets to the crowd.

• Moves Through: Claiborne St. Church St. Royal St. St. Francis St. Conception St. Government St. Washington Ave. Canal St. Broad St. Spring Hill Ave.
• Ending Point: Mobile Civic Center
• This route runs through downtown Mobile making it a great parade to watch from spots like Bienville Square and Cathedral Square!
