🀣 This talk will be presented by Douglas Vye, past president of the Ottawa Orchid Society.
Douglas Vye will be presenting an introduction to orchids and their cultivation. Douglas has been growing orchids for more than 30 years and is a past president of the Ottawa Orchid Society. His collection at one point numbered over 150 orchids. His presentation will cover orchid physiology, natural environments, home growing conditions, and some of challenges with orchids.
Orchid growing medium will be available for purchase at this event.
Orchid Clinic: if you have an orchid you would like Douglas' advice on, please feel free to bring it along for him to diagnose issues and propose solutions.
