Do you grow orchids? Are you interested in starting an orchid collection? Are you looking for interesting orchid species? This is the place to be.The Sarasota Orchid Society (SOS) will present our 67th annual show and sale at the Sarasota Municipal Auditorium in beautiful downtown Sarasota, FL on January 10th and 11th, 2026. The show’s theme this year is “Orchid Odyssey”.
For two days, over 20 vendors will fill the auditorium with an explosion of color and smells, exhibiting and selling thousands of blooming orchid plants, as well as presenting gorgeous displays. Accredited American Orchid Society judges will judge the orchids
and displays presented by the region’s orchid societies, commercial and individual growers. There will also be educational orchid culture classes, accessories and growing supplies for sale, raffles, and experts on site to answer questions.
The Sarasota Orchid Society is a non-profit society dedicated to the education, appreciation, and enjoyment of many varieties of orchids. The beautiful, tropical climate enjoyed by people living in Sarasota is ideal for cultivation of these spectacular plants.
Come on out to the show and sale to meet an amazing group of happy orchid lovers, learn how to grow these spectacular blooms, or find a plant of your own just waiting for a new
home! Proceeds from this event go to our scholarship fund that provides scholarships to high school and college students in Sarasota and Manatee Counties.
Entrance fee is $5.
