Orchids Central 2026 — Three Days, Five Societies, One Unmissable Show
Whether you've never grown an orchid in your life or you've got a shed full of them, Orchids Central 2026 is where NSW's best growers, rarest blooms, and most passionate community come together for one weekend.
Five of Sydney's leading orchid societies have joined forces to bring you the biggest orchid event on the calendar this year, three full days of colour, expertise, and plants you simply won't find anywhere else.
What's on:
- A showcase of rare and unusual orchids — species and hybrids you won't see in a garden centre, benched and judged by experienced growers
- Plants for sale from 15 leading nurseries — from beginner-friendly phalaenopsis to serious collector pieces, with growers on hand to help you choose
- Expert advice, freely given — ask questions, get your own plants diagnosed, and learn the tricks that took the pros decades to figure out
- Prize draws with every ticket — plenty of prizes up for grabs simply for coming along
- The Sander's Bowl presentation — one of the most prestigious moments on the Australian orchid calendar
