With two Light Music experts taking the baton (Howard Rogerson and Andrew Penny) our annual play-day will focus on music by Ernest Tomlinson, Trevor Duncan and Angela Morley, all born in 1924, as well as Coates, Elgar, Sullivan, Anderson and Haydn Wood.Players, secure your place:

telling us your instrument, and any orchestral playing you have done. The day will start at 10.00am, and end with a short concert showcasing our musical achievements. Recommended standard: Grade 6, or above.
You only pay once your place is confirmed.
Come and listen:
Sit in on the play-day (10.00am - 4.00pm) and see (and hear) the orchestra from scratch! Non-players are welcome to peek “behind the scenes” as we rehearse.
