Join Friends of North Creek Forest and City of Bothell at a volunteer event to celebrate Orca Recovery Day...rain or shine! Tasks could include invasive species removal, spreading mulch, planting native species, watering young plants, and more. These events provide an introduction to restoration ecology and a fun way to spend time outdoors. We'll be meeting at the North Creek Forest West Entrance at the dead-end intersection of 108th Ave NE and NE 202nd St in Bothell.Tools and work gloves will be provided. Dress for the weather. Closed-toed, sturdy shoes are required. Boots are highly recommended. Volunteers ages 15 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
