Join us for the 8th annual Orca Recovery Day, a day of action to build awareness and make a difference for Puget Sound’s local orca pod, the Southern Residents. Together we will plant native trees and shrubs along Johns Creek at Bayshore Preserve, helping expand the streamside habitat that supports migrating salmon—our local orca’s favorite food!
This is a come-and-go style event. You’re welcome to join us for an hour or stay the whole time.
Parking: The main lot is closed during construction. Please park at the Oakland Bay Recreation Area at 3990 WA-3. A Discover pass is required.
Please register ahead of time to receive event details and complete our waiver. See you there!
