Register your student for one of our Oratorical Contests to win a cash prize at the local level or a $3500 scholarship at the state level! This contest provides an excellent opportunity for students to develop important public speaking skills. The topic for 2026 is “The Moment I Realized I Belonged
—My Definition of Community.”
Any student is eligible to participate who is under the age of 19 as of October 1st, lives in Centerville/Washington Township, and/or attends Centerville City Schools, Incarnation Catholic School, Alter High School, Miami Valley School, Spring Valley Academy, or Dayton Christian School.
Contests will be held at 11:45am on 2/3/2025 or 2/10/2025 during lunch at Yankee Trace Golf Club.
