Orange Sky is a non-profit organisation providing free laundry services to people experiencing homelessness and hardship.Each week, thousands of volunteers across Australia give their time to help positively connect some of the 122,494 Australians doing it tough. The focus is on creating a safe, positive and supportive environment for people who are too often ignored or feel disconnected from the community.
Orange Sky is officially launching in the community at The Salvation Army, Bendigo!
We are inviting members of the public to come and see the laundry pod in action, learn more about what Orange Sky does for local communities, and most importantly, come have a chat!
Our first shift will begin later that afternoon.
Our current shift availabilities from July 2024 will be:
Mondays 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Thursdays 10:30am - 1:00pm
