To recognize, honour, and support survivors of residential schools, and commemorate the children that attended the Sechelt Residential School.
Commemoration Ceremony
11:00 am - 1:00 pm at the Residential School Monument Site
A commemoration ceremony will take place to honour and remember attendees of the Sechelt Residential School. Drumming and singing, speakers, moment of silence and cultural ceremony will take place.
Walk for Reconciliation
1:00 pm - 1:30 pm
Attendees are invited to participate in a walk for reconciliation that will begin at the Residential School Monument site.
