ORANGE - Newburgh: Ward Brothers Memorial Park Stewardship Projects

Join Orange County Rowing Association, Greater Newburgh Parks Conservancy, and Newburgh Rowing Club for a cleanup, invasive species removal, and native vegetation planting at Ward Brothers Memorial Park from 9AM to 1PM for the 13th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep. This is a rain or shine event.

Volunteers will meet at the Newburgh Rowing Club/Ward Brothers Memorial Boathouse, 2 River Street, Newburgh, NY 12550, under the Pavilion by the water park in the main lot.

We recommend that all Sweep volunteers bring a hat, sunscreen, a full reusable water bottle, insect repellent, work gloves and hand sanitizer.

This site is suitable for elementary-aged children with adult supervision.
