Orange in Flames: Three Significant Fires in the Town of Orange

Speiden auditorium for a presentation by Society President and professional archaeologist, Ray Ezell, on three episodes when the Town of Orange suffered severe damage from fires that erupted within its limits. These conflagrations caused significant damage and property loss that can be traced in period insurance maps and caused well established businesses and other institutions to relocate their operations. These fires shaped later business development activity, emphasizing more resilient construction methods to withstand such events in the future.
