Oral Science Hygiene Day - Saskatoon - AM Session - Air Polishing
About this Event
Attendees will gain an understanding of biofilm management and its role in periodontal maintenance. Participants will learn how to use the Woodpecker PT-B for effective and complete biofilm disruption and how to manage inflammation by incorporating air polishing and PIEZO technology into their dental hygiene treatment. The course also covers inflammation monitoring, including the function of memory cells and neutrophils and how to use and incorporate a saliva-based test to aid in the detection of gingivitis. They will have an opportunity to develop skills through a combination of theory, demonstrations and hands-on practice using innovative and evidence-based products available from Oral Science.
