$4 Walk Fee. Join the Happy Wanderers for our #OptOutside after Thanksgiving event in the Smyrna Dunes, NSB. Tailgate Registration in parking lot at 9:30 AM for the group walks, Grayce K Barck Park, corner of N. Peninsula Ave. and Sapphire Rd. 29.046113, -80.902913. Consider carpooling, popular event, limited parking, due to ongoing construction along Sapphire Road. IF you have a NSB Parking Permit, please park in the lot closer to the beach.
Join us for this delightful walk on the beautiful Smyrna Dunes boardwalk, with its splendid views of the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse. (The dunes is part of the 20KM route on our New Smyrna Beach YRE.) Next, we'll hit the beach and enjoy the salty air, crashing waves, captivating conversation, getting fit! (no ambling), and the beauty of our surroundings. Leaving the beach will take us through the charming beach town of New Smyrna Beach.
IVV credit will be available, as this walk is along a portion of the NSB YRE 20km route.
